Haircare Tips & Tricks #2 - Best Care For Your Hair Type

Hey people, today i will be going through what you can do to your hair to improve it's strength, overall look and easy management so just scroll down to whatever hair type you have (:

Thin Hair

Thin hair tends to be flat and sometimes lifeless, so in order to wake it up use thickening or volumising shampoo & conditioner, and other hair products. I recommend using thickening shampoo & conditioner first to (surprise surprise) thicken up your hair & then for an extra wake up call, use volumising hair products outside the shower like the 'Treseme 24hour Root Boosting Spray' (i use it myself^^).

For an everyday style try going for very soft waves or a tousled look if you don't have wavy hair already. This will just give it extra volume.

Flat Thick Hair

Use volumising, lightweight products to lift up your hair. If you have dry ends and need it moisturized use a deep conditioning spray from the brands 'Aussie' & 'It's a 10'.

Hair that goes greasy/oily easily

Avoid cheap 'moisturizing' or 'nourishing' hair products because they will weigh your hair down. When using conditioner in the shower put it only on the bottom half/ends of your hair and use the left overs from your hands onto your scalp. An alternative is not using conditioner at all and just opt for a deep conditioning spray from the brands 'Aussie' & 'It's a 10'.

After a shower rinse with cold or cold-ish water. If you look after your skin you know that opening up the pores with warm water is important and rinsing with cold water to close them up again. This is the same with hair.

Dry Hair

For dry hair it is a bit difficult to look after since you can have either think or thin hair and don't want to weigh it down with moisturizing products. In the shower use whatever method i said above (which ever you have, thick or thin) and outside the shower i recommend hair oils such as argon or Moroccan oil. Make sure not to use too much on the scalp/roots! start at the ends and work your way up the hair and into the roots.

Dyed/bleached/damaged hair

I have made a post on it already that you can see here
