Handpiece:

It's a bronze chain that you wear as a bracelet and ring.

As you can see the ring is just a chain loop. There are 3 turquoise gemstones in the middle with 4 chains running on each side of them to make the bracelet, which is clipped together by a clasp.

It's a beautiful hand-piece that also comes in a silver or gold chain.

It is very comfortable to wear and it doesn't get in the way of doing anything. I also think that the quality is very good. The chain and gem doesn't feel or look cheap. I am very satisfied with this and have no complaints. The design is fab and there is also an anklet version if you are interest.

Pom Pom Fringed Shorts:

I found these shorts absolutely gorgeous! The colorful print is beautiful and the pom poms just add perfection to the design.

The pom poms are small and soft so they don't feel uncomfortable. You can't really feel them when you wear the shorts unless you swing your legs or something :P

The shorts has an elasticated waistband, which makes it very comfortable to wear. It says in the description of the item that it is also unlined and that there is no stretch fabric.

Available Sizes: AU 6-12 / US 2-8 / UK 6-12 / EU 34-40

Material: Polyester

In the description is says to handwash the shorts, but i didn't notice this statement until i went back to the website to get the above info. I put it in the washing machine like normal and they still turned out fine. I think you shouldn't tumble dry them tho cuz i think the pom poms will shrink.

I love these shorts and i think they are perfect for summer. The design is vibrant, it's comfortable to move in & the material is light and thin.

The only bad thing i would say about this is the pom poms inbetween the legs. They kept on tangling when i walked. At first it was easy to untangle but it became difficult, & as a result i cut the pom poms off in the middle:

I didn't really mind cutting them off since you can't really see them anyways. But I think they might have tangled because my thighs touch. So if yours don't they might not knot together, but i'm not too sure.

Overall, i love these shorts and i think they have become one of my favorites!

Harumii Flower Crown [REVIEW]

Today I will be reviewing a flower crown from Harumii ^^

I was so happy when i got it in the mail & i am not at all disappointed~ (She even wrote me a cute letter to go with my order ^^)
This is a simple plastic flower crown that is worn like a headband. There is a mixture of different flowers that are lilac and cream, with a copper coil wire wrapped around the branch.

It is very comfortable to wear and easy to put on. The flowers don't get in the way at all when putting it on and the wire is very securely wrapped at the ends.

I'm not really the type to wear flower crowns, but this was too cute and pretty not to get ≧∇≦

Plus i like how this has an elastic on it. I can't wear flower crowns without one cuz they just won't stay on my head for some reason 0.0 maybe because i'm wearing it wrong? or my head is too big? who knows :P

Here i am wearing it. I covered my face because i just woke up and had to take a quick pic cuz the sun was out. The weather has been really bad lately and it's hard to take clear pictures when the sun isn't shining. I shot out of bed just to take this pic so I didn't want you guys to see my morning zombie face xD

BornPretty Water Decal [Review]

Back with another water decal nail decor~

These are individual stripes but i used them all together like a tribal/aztec kind of thing.

(sorry the pictures look a bit dodge, the lighting in my room wasn't good)

There 8 different stripes, 4 pink and 4 yellow.

The stripes are 12.4cm long and the width varies from 3mm - 9mm.

I honestly thought there were 10 stripes, but the last 2 on the end of each side are joined together. Because of the space between them you can cut it and make 2 different stripes, which = to 10 stripes.

Pros:

easy to use

has a lot of strips to do different designs

Cons:

the ink of the decal with run with the top coat if you do not leave it to dry long enough

i wish there was more colours but pink and yellow go a lot with other colours so it's not that big of a deal

they last (although i guess this depends on what top coat you use. i use rimmel)

Around 6-7 months back i finished the Etude House Acne Cleanser and did a review on it. If you've read it then you might remember me saying that it was the best cleanser i've used up to date and i was on my way to buying another one. Before i could, i came across a site that sold Yes to Tomatoes products. This was a brand i've wanted to try for ages but i couldn't find a site which could ship them to the UK. By chance i found a site that sold it and bought it straight away cuz i've read so many reviews on it and it was hard to find (plus it was on sale :P) I can't remember now where i got it from, i'll try and find out.

But anyways~

After using finishing this scrub i have to say that it is definitely one of the best cleansers ever! This and the Etude Cleanser are the same when it comes to results.

The Etude one was foam and this one was more of a clear gel like liquid with soft and hard exfoliating beads. (i forgot to take pictures of what it looks like sorry!)

Pros:

Dealt with my acne breakouts really well!
Soft on the face but cleans deeply

Cons:

At first the smell was unpleasant but after several washes i got used to it and didn't even notice thee was a smell anymore.
It doesn't last that long, the tube will probably last you around 2 and a half months as you need to use quite a bit for every wash.

Overall i think that this and the etude cleanser are my top cleansers! it's up to you which one you buy. I can't seem to find the website i purchased it off but if you live in the US it's easily available to you. If you don't you might have to search around a bit as the official website for this brand doesn't do international shipping which sucks!

Skincare Tips & Tricks #10 - Treat Your Skin

Even tho you might wash your face everyday, pamper it with a toner, moistener and serums, sometimes your skin just needs a deep treatment. You don't need to go to a spa and pay high prices for facial treatments. All you need is a sheet mask. Clay masks and other cream/gel masks work too but not as much as sheets (in my opinion anyway, plus its easier to use).

If you're not familiar with them it basically looks like the pic below. It is a fiber sheet that is soaked in different liquid treatments. You place it onto your face for 15-30 after washing it and applying toner (if you have one), don't put moisturizer before putting it on. After 15-20 has gone you take it off and rub the excess serum/cream into your face, and that's it! No need to moisturize after as the sheet has moisturizing properties.

I do this once a week on a saturday or sunday when i just wanna relax. Doing this has improved my skin at times when i break out a lot. Depending on which mask you get, they do different things for you. There are are many types you can buy: collagen, brightening, moisturizing, healing...and so on.

Since i have acne, the one's i've tried and highly recommend are:

Etude I Need You! Alphabet Mask Sheets: Tea Tree | Trouble Care

This is really good for acne and oily skin. After using this my face isn't oily at all! It isn't drying either. I mainly use this when my breakout are really bad.

Holika Holiday Vita Daily Mask

One that i've recently found is the Holika Holiday Vita Daily Mask. Click here to check it out. I got the Vita B one:

This is a great pack with 10 sheets inside. This is much cheaper than buying a bunch of individual ones and can be used daily if you want.

The Vita B is for skin soothing and sebum control, which is like the etude one. In a way this one is my main choice, but when my skin is more irritated than usual i go for my etude one which i feel has a stronger effect.

HOW TO UNCLUMP & REVIVE GLITTER NAIL POLISH LIKE NEW

Sometimes after a while the glitter in nail polish can clump up together at the top of the bottle and even when shaken they just won’t budge. In the end you’re left with little polish left, but with a bunch of glitter stuck to the walls of the bottle.

All you need to fix this is clear nail polish and metal mixing balls. (click on image)

The clear nail polish will give the glitter something to mix into, and the metal mixing balls will unclump the glitter and mix the polish better.

Here is what my nail polish was like before:

It had just under half the polish left and about 1/2 of the glitter was stuck at the top and bottom of the bottle.

After adding clear nail polish and 2 mixing balls, i mixed them together inbetween my hands in a rubbing motion (Shaking the bottle will create air bubbles). I also slowly moved the metal balls around the area where the glitter clumped. And the result:

Because of the added clear polish it’s just like new ^^

I used NYC In A Minute Clear polish(bought in local drugstore). It’s only 1.99 and is the cheapest good value polish i know ^^ (i had just enough left to almost fill the bottle aswell :P).

The metal balls i bought here for £1.69. They are 5mm in diameter and there are 20 pieces in the pack. They are great for mixing glitter nailpolish even if it isn’t clumped yet, it prevents them from bulking.
