1. Looking for an inexpensive organic facial wash? use oatmeal! This is good for all skintypes, with or without acne. & if you have a normal skintype then this is a great way to keep your skin healthy! It’s cheap and they sell in big packages so it lasts for ages (:
2. Cleanse your neck & chest. Many people only wash their face because it is where all/most of the imperfections are, but your neck & chest need cleansing too. If you don’t there is a good chance that pimples will appear on your neck and chest also.
3. Be gentle. A lot of people think that when cleansing it will work better if you scrub harder, and longer. This isn’t true. This only irritates the skin and damages your skin barrier. Scrub gently in circular inward motions, like in the beautiful diagram i have drawn so artistically with paint below:

The reason for scrubbing inwards is because that way you are scrubbing in the opposite direction of your facial hair. This helps get into the pores easier.
4. Use warm water. Please restrain from washing your face or taking a shower with hot water. Steamy hot water makes the skin dry. This is bad for all skintypes. If your skin is dry it’ll get even dryer. If your skin is oily it will become more oily. So if you have combo like me, it’s like double the trouble.
5. Moisturize. No matter what skin type you are you must moisturize after cleansing. This will help keep your skin hydrated and get the right balance your skin needs. This will also prevent oily skin from becoming more…oily.
6. Is SPF even useful? yes it is! when buying any moisturizer, lotion, cream, foundation, BB/CC creams, etc, it is best to have SPF in them. The higher the better, especially if you live in a hot country where the sun shines really bright in the summer. This will protect the skin from the sun which dries the skin. It will also prevent the skins barrier from being damaged and darkening hyperpigmentations.
7. Sleep on your back. When you sleep on your side your face goes onto the pillow & all the dirt & bacteria will go on your face. Especially if you use leave in hair cosmetics, some of the chemicals can transfer into your pillow and can irritate your skin. Obviously you can’t help rolling over to your side when you’re sleeping, but try falling asleep on your back, and change your pillow cases regularly to help them clean. If you like to cover up your face with your blanket/duvet when sleeping then change those frequently too.
8. Don’t touch your face so often. Try not to touch your face regularly, as throughout the day your hands gather dirt & bacteria. If you touch your face afterwards then all the nasty stuff transfers onto your face and may cause breakouts or oil build up.
9. Clean your mobile phone regularly. It is said that there are more bacteria on a mobile phone than a toilet seat. Now i don’t know if this is true, but do i know that there is a lot of bacteria on mobile phones so it’s best to sanitize it with wipes whenever you get the chance. The reasons for this is the same as number 8.
10. Drink lots of water! It is important to drink lots of water to keep your body and skin hydrated, and to strengthen your skin barrier. If really don't like drinking water then green tea may be better for you. Use honey instead of sugar to sweeten it if you find it bitter. Honey is a much healthier choice.
11. Get enough sleep! You can’t sleep only a few hours each night and expect your skin not to be affected. You must sleep at least 8-9 hours every night in order for your body to circulate properly. When your asleep, it’s the time when your body is repairing and rejuvenating itself. They don't call it beauty sleep just because of Sleeping Beauty ya know :P
12. Keep clean before bed. If you wear makeup you must remove them before going to bed. Throughout the day your face would have gone through quite a bit and there will be a build up of all kinds of things, especially if you’re wearing make up. So make sure to wash and moisturize before going to bed.
13. Stay away from fried food. As hard as this is, because fried food (bacon) is just heaven, you need to cut down on them. Eating them once in a while or every so often isn’t bad for you, but if you eat fried food on a regular basis it really is bad for you in general & your skin due to the oils on the food.
15. Facial. It's good to treat your skin at least once a week. So when you get a day off or have time to relax, put a face/sheet mask on.

I hope this helped ^^
